Laurel Molly lives and works in Bristol in a shared studio alongside other creatives.
Her personal work is often culture based, celebrating the mundane. She’s always curious to look into human behaviour and the world we live in, telling stories through loose lines and gentle colours.
As a social being she loves working with local clients, helping out with Pip Illustration events and illustrating menu boards around the city.
With a growing editorial portfolio, she illustrates for Pellicle’s online magazine in her reportage style and for Financial Times Book Reviews with her conceptual storytelling abilities.

"Laurel is a delight to work with, and produces illustrations of the highest quality that really help bring the articles we publish to life. As a small publisher it's really important that we work with artists that not only get what we're trying to achieve, but also understand the feel and vibe we're trying to convey. It's why I go back to her time and again, knowing it'll result in some fantastic artwork!" — Matthew Curtis, Editor-in-Chief, Pellicle Magazine.
"Laurel is a multi-talented, creative artist and has produced some wonderful illustrations for our membership magazine. Her beautiful unique style brings an ethereal quality to features that are often difficult to illustrate due to the complex subject matter. An absolute delight to work with" — Yvey Bailey, Art Editor, Bulletin Magazine
“Laurel Molly has exhibited with us at North Street Gallery on several occasions over the last few years. Her work is always exciting, bringing a vibrant air to the gallery and drawing customers in. Her illustrations often make me feel very calm and meditative, sometimes they are thought provoking and stimulating. She has a strong recognisable style but demonstrates great versatility within that. Her animations are wonderful, with a peaceful pace to them and considered complementary soundtracks. Her impressive illustrations for newspapers and magazines appear to suit the subject well. Laurel's work is always popular and sells well in our gallery.” — Jonathan Rolfe, Director of North Street Gallery, Bristol
